Advanced Registration Is Now Open
Those who have registered and are ready to compete in the 2012 Washington DC Nakamura Ryu Tai Kai, can now start planning your trip to the West coast and the 2012 West Coast Tai Kai. The event will be held at The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at The Block in Orange, CA on Labor Day weekend. The schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, August 29, 2012 – Toyama Ryu Gasshuku
- Thursday, August 30, 2012 – Meishi Ha Mugai Ryu Gasshuku
- Friday, August 31, 2012 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. – Taikai seminars (click here for schedule)
- Friday, August 31, 2012 7 p.m. – Embu by visiting sensei
- Saturday, September 1, 2012 – 2012 West Coast Taikai
This year, we are very fortunate to again have the participation of many vendors including Mike Yamasaki of RiceCracker.com and Tetsugendo.com who will have a display of antique Japanese swords unrivaled on this continent. Mike will also be lecturing on Friday during the seminars.
